It underpins online trust, protects members of vulnerable communities, and safeguards the data of African governments, communities, businesses, and citizens from cyber criminals and other malicious actors.
However, some governments and organizations are pushing to weaken encryption, which would create a dangerous precedent that compromises the security and privacy of billions of people around Africa.
As part of Internet Village Digital Economy Transformation Research Project Initiative, we are developing an artificial intelligence through our maiden data base backed up with CISCO Networking Technology and hyper cyber security protection interface that will be targeted at young adults to provide them with cyber knowledge and build their capacity in the area of uninterrupted decentralized encryptions.
